Some nights fit neatly into a calendar. Others seem determined to escape it.
I’m looking at Power Dance Club Fortuna in Milan and wondering which part of Sunday I would choose: the anticipation just before midnight, the morning shift in energy, or those afternoon hours when a dancefloor becomes an alternative to the usual weekend routine.
The next announced gathering brings Power Dance Club and After Fortuna together at Circolo Amelia, Via privata Venezia Giulia 19, from Saturday 7 to Sunday 8 November 2026. The organiser-managed Resident Advisor listing advertises a party lasting more than twenty hours, beginning at 23:59.
That extended format is what first catches my attention. It allows us to imagine different ways of joining the same event.
A programme worth exploring
The announced line-up includes Aldonna, Andromeda\Unchained, BENNETT, Kingsizebed, LEMME, Luigi Di Venere, source:link, Stathis (GR) and Yas Reven. I would resist turning those names into a prediction of exactly how the party will sound. Part of the attraction is discovering how different selectors connect across a long programme, and whether an unexpected set becomes the one you talk about afterwards. For me, that is a good reason to arrive curious.
The possibility of a different Sunday
When I travel for nightlife, I’m increasingly interested in events that offer more than one point of entry into the experience.
A Saturday-night arrival and a Sunday-afternoon visit can be very different choices. We don’t all have the same energy, the same working week or the same appetite for staying out. A long programme gives us something to think about beyond the familiar decision of where to go after dinner.
It doesn’t mean anyone needs to dance for twenty hours. I would choose the part that suits me, make plans with friends and leave room to change my mind. The length of an event is an opportunity, never a personal challenge.
Why Amelia is on my radar
In its preview, Milan magazine Zero describes this edition as an extended gathering connected to Biscotto della Fortuna and places After Fortuna’s developing programme within its relationship with Circolo Amelia. Zero’s preview
That continuity interests me. I want to discover projects that build a relationship with a room and its audience over successive dates.
I haven’t attended this forthcoming edition, so I can’t tell you what its atmosphere will be. What I can say is that the combination of an extended timetable and this line-up has earned a place in my Milan notebook.

The organiser’s Resident Advisor page currently lists 23:59 on Saturday 7 November until 22:30 on Sunday 8 November. Zero gives slightly different hours, so I would use the organiser’s latest announcement as the reference and check again before travelling.

Two dates, two different plans

For now, I’m thinking about November: who might come along, which part of the programme we would choose, and the pleasure of discovering another side of Milan together.
Some Sundays are made for a long lunch. This one offers another possibility.
