FAST FEELINGS: LEAVING ROOM FOR SOMETHING NEW IN COLOGNE
When a city has a busy party weekend, I try to leave room for a new name. Familiar events have their pull, but a new project can offer another way into a community. FAST FEELINGS is one I’d like to discover.
The organiser’s listing confirms Friday 27 November 2026 at artheater, Ehrenfeldgürtel 127, Cologne, with entry from 23:00. Its musical brief brings pop and techno together in a queer club night. I haven’t verified an announced artist line-up, so I’m keeping names out of this preview.
What makes me pause over the announcement is its explicit approach to consent and discrimination: only yes means yes, with no place for racism, sexism, homophobia or transphobia. These are the organiser’s commitments; how they work in practice is something to observe and hold a venue accountable to.
I’m curious enough to put it on my list. For anyone arriving alone, I hope a new night can also mean an easier first conversation. We all deserve space to find our own rhythm.
