FUNHOUSE CHRISTMAS: AMSTERDAM AND THE PEOPLE WE CHOOSE
December plans can feel complicated. Some of us look forward to family traditions; others build our own, with friends and places where we feel more at ease. That is why I’m already looking at Amsterdam’s FunHouse Christmas edition with affection and curiosity.
The confirmed date is Saturday 19 December 2026, 22:00–07:00, at WestWeelde, Klonneplein 6. The organiser lists WesterUnie, WesterLiefde and the terrace spaces, with MOUSSA and Josh Harrison announced and more names still to come.
I would love to make this part of my December. I’m drawn to the possibility of ending the year among people brought together by music, without pretending everyone arrives with the same happy holiday story.
For now, this is an early preview rather than a verdict on a night still to happen. Check the final programme and ticket terms before booking. If you go with friends, make room for the person who is quieter than usual; celebration and a little vulnerability can share the same dancefloor.
