Track of the Day: PAGANO — Synergism (Raw Mix)

An editorial selection for 27 October 2026.

When I look beyond a party poster, I want to follow the music back to the people making it. Today, alongside our profile of Pagano, I’m putting one specific recording on the reading-and-listening list: Synergism (Raw Mix), released by Tronic on 1 October 2026.

The version matters. Tronic’s catalogue lists the Raw Mix as a six-minute techno recording at 140 BPM. The earlier Progressive Mix, released on 10 September, runs at 124 BPM; the Rauschhaus Remix belongs to that earlier release too. These are different choices, rather than interchangeable names for the same track.

There is a concrete route into the Raw Mix beyond a shop listing. The published tracklist for Tronic Podcast 739 with Pagano, dated 23 September 2026, places it eighth, between Sandro Mure’s Darbuka Drums and Gary Beck’s JYSK. The recording preceded the commercial release. It gives readers an opportunity to explore the track within a DJ’s sequence, as well as through the release itself.

That context is why I’m choosing it. I’m interested in how a producer places their own work beside other artists, and in what a set can tell us that a promotional image cannot. I would start with the official programme and follow the names that catch my attention, without pretending that a printed tracklist is a substitute for listening.

For our community, discovering music can be a shared activity without becoming a competition over who knows the most. Send a friend the correct version. Compare the earlier Progressive Mix with the Raw Mix. Leave room for different preferences, and for the person who is hearing Pagano’s work for the first time.

This is my editorial choice, not a claim that Synergism is the most-played track in gay clubs worldwide. One documented artist-selected radio appearance establishes a real programming context; it cannot establish global popularity or independent support across an entire scene.
