Music Charts: HUGEL and Ultra Naté hold the UK dance No. 1 for a 12th week

"Movin' to the Sun" by HUGEL, Imael Angel and Ultra Naté is No. 1 again on the Official Dance Singles Chart for 23–29 October 2026. The song has now spent 12 weeks at the top of the dance chart, according to its Official Charts history. It has been on the chart for 19 weeks.

The same page shows how far the track has travelled beyond the dance list. It peaked at No. 2 on the Official Singles Chart on 3 September and reached No. 1 on both the sales and downloads charts. It spent ten weeks at No. 1 on the downloads chart and eleven on the Official Independent Singles Chart.

A house veteran back on top

The song puts a house veteran back at the top of a UK chart. Audiojacked describes her as a Baltimore house pioneer whose 1997 single "Free" reached a global audience. Songfacts reports that HUGEL, the French DJ-producer, had previously remixed "Free" and brought her in as a longtime collaborator. It also says the song premiered during his Coachella set, came out on 22 May 2026 as the lead single from his debut album Twenty One, and gave its name to his summer tour. Audiojacked identifies the label as HUGEL's own imprint, Make The Girls Dance Records.

New entries and climbers

The highest new entry is "Think Of You" by Kettama & Prospa at No. 3. Prospa are also at No. 2, with their Cloonee collaboration "Free Your Mind", and at No. 4 on Cloonee's "Good Girl" featuring Tristan. That gives Prospa three of the top four places. Lower down, Chris Lorenzo and Chromeo enter at No. 22 with "Fancy Footwork", and Sidepiece and 95 South enter at No. 34 with "Can I Ride".

Among the climbers, Calvin Harris & Douglas move up from 11 to 10 with "Blessings". Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding's "Outside" rises from 39 to 26. Disclosure's "Latch" featuring Sam Smith climbs seven places to No. 24, its 136th week on the chart.

The long-runners

The chart is still full of floor-fillers from past decades. Robyn's "Dancing On My Own" is at No. 8 in its 49th week, having peaked at No. 3. Robin S's "Show Me Love" is at No. 21 after 82 weeks, and Everything But The Girl's "Missing" is at No. 36. Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the Silence" moves up from 21 to 17.
